93% total solar reflectance (ASTM C1549); solar absorptance 0.07; thermal emissivity ≥ 0.85. Surfaces can be 20–40 °C cooler and warehouse interiors up to 10 °C cooler. Actual performance depends on factors including weather, roof construction, insulation and building use.
Vapor-permeable (Sd 0.16–0.17 m), elastic and able to bridge hairline cracks. A coating does not replace necessary repairs to damage or defective roof connections.
66 °C and 36 °C at an air temperature of 30 °C come from our own measurement on a summer day; this view is not a live measurement. The time-of-day control interpolates a simplified scenario; it is not a thermal simulation.
Steel calculation example: 20 m sheet length, assumed thermal expansion coefficient of 0.000012/K, cooling to 20 °C. ΔL = α × L × ΔT gives 11.0 mm (66 → 20 °C) and 3.8 mm (36 → 20 °C), rounded to 11 and 4 mm. Movement is greatly exaggerated in the model.
The exploded view shows example connection types, not a prescribed roof assembly. Cracks, deformation, debonding and water paths illustrate possible effects of stress. Rust marks illustrate potential corrosion of exposed metal details, not corrosion of bitumen. Aging is shown qualitatively and does not predict a specific service life or guarantee watertightness.
